Did you know that where you place your speaker system greatly affects the performance of the sound?
Most of your sounds that you hear when you're listening to music, watching movies, or playing games don't come from your speaker systems, but is reflected sound from the objects around you - floor, wall, lamps, ceiling, and other objects you have in your room. The more objects there are to reflect sound, the lower the sound quality you get.
The speaker satellites sound best when positioned at ear's height when you are seated. Make sure both left and right speaker satellites are the same distance. Make sure the subwoofer and speaker satellites are placed close to the walls which will help you greatly enhance the bass performance. However, some speaker systems with strong bass, you may experience extra boomy bass, so we recommend playing around with the distance to find the most ideal location. Put on a song with low frequency ranges like hip hop or EDM, and test what distance sounds the best.
If you'd like to take it a step further, you can also use sound equalizer programs on your PC and experience the different presets they have or adjust the settings to your own liking.
